Each layer is built for a specific job. Bond, body, look and protection. Skip one and the floor fails early. Get all four right and it lasts decades.
Prepared substrate
Diamond ground concrete slab. The whole system stands on this. Proper surface preparation is non negotiable.
Penetrating primer
Soaks deep into the concrete pores and creates the chemical bond that holds the rest of the system in place. Without it, no coating lasts.
Epoxy base coat
100% solids high build resin. The structural body of the floor. Impact resistance, chemical resistance and the bulk of the durability.
Decorative vinyl flakes
Hand broadcast chips embedded into the wet base. Add texture, hide minor concrete imperfections, improve slip resistance.
UV stable top coat
Crystal clear seal. Locks in the flakes, resists scuffs and hot tyre pickup, gives the floor its shine.
